There are less than 60 days left in the year.
⏳ Time to Reflect
Before we know it, it will be Thanksgiving & Christmas. Let's take some time to look back at what we've accomplished this year. I like to build this timeline in Canva.
One thing I keep having to learn is that a year really isn't that much time. You can only get a few major things done.
💻 Online Courses
I like to create several online courses throughout the year. Something about bringing my vision to life gets me going. I have made (3) courses this year and finalizing the 4th!
🔨 Skillshare - Bluebeam Construction Course
🔨 Skillshare - Resume Building Course
🔨 Skillshare - Notion for Construction Engineers
👩🏫 Teachable - Business for Creators (TBD)
I like to post one video a week on YouTube to bring what I am working on to life. Part of YouTube is also book reviews too.

👩💻 Coding Courses
I am a lifelong learner and I am always working on online courses. Here is a list of classes I finished this year.
👩💻 React Web Development Course (SheCodes)
👩💻 SQL Data Course (Khan Academy)
👩💻 Python Projects (Udemy)
👩💻 Power BI Data Analysis (PluralSight)
👩💻 Automate the Boring Stuff Using Python (Udemy)
💀 The Graveyard
If you actually want to get things done, you have to cross most things off your list. I call this the project graveyard. It's almost like honoring the projects you just don't have time for but WISH you could work on. Here are mine:
I love to create scrapbook spreads. Recently, I stopped because of COVID and because I put my social life on a hold to accomplish some of my goals.
🥇 LEED Certificate
Earlier this year I played around with getting certified to beef up my estimating resume. But, crossed it off my list when I realized this just isn't a priority.
💸 Financial Bots
I thought about learning more about financial trading software. But honestly, I just don't have the time.
🌐 Web 3.0
Twitter lost it over Web 3.0 being the future. I really wanted to learn more. Sorry!
Do I even need to explain this one? Blockchain, Ethereum. I really wanted to be up to date on this stuff. I guess I will never fulfill my crypto potential.

New this week is a video on a concept I have coined the Bored List Technique. Essentially, you make a list of things to do if you get bored which is way more productive than binging Grey's Anatomy.
